I KNOW it is a bit late but about three years ago I was having a breakdown which ended up in alcoholism.
I got so drunk one day I ended up lying on my back in Percival Lane in Runcorn looking at the stars when somebody stopped his car to pick me up and take me home.
To this day I’ve not encountered such a heroic, selfless and human act towards myself.
I have now overcome that predicament and I want to thank this saint who helped me to get on my feet and in his car to take me home.
Unfortunately I have not seen him again or got to know his name.
