THEOS McEvatt did his country proud in the Youth MMA IMMAF World Championships in Abu Dhabi during the summer.
Representing England, the 15-year-old from Sandymoor was in a bracket of 29 of the best youngsters in the world and finished second overall.
He lost in the final to the current European and world champion.
McEvatt fought against teenagers from Iraq, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Poland.
He fights out of Gracie Barra Warrington and Titanium Combat Academy in Liverpool.
