LUKE ‘The Nuke’ Littler will meet his UK Open conqueror in the last 16 of the Belgian Darts Open on Sunday.

A rematch with Australian ace Damon Heta is all set up at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze after the one-time Runcorn resident despatched Polish number one Krzysztof Ratajski 6-3 in the second round of his debut European Tour event.

The 17-year-old and his opponent went leg-for-leg with the arrows until the eighth when Littler’s 11-darter broke Ratajski for a 5-3 lead.

He broke Ratajski’s spirit as well, easily taking out the next leg to book his ticket to Sunday afternoon’s session.

Littler hit six 180s as he averaged 97.05 to progress to a mouthwatering clash with Heta, who defeated Littler 10-8 last Sunday in one of the greatest television matches in memory with ‘darts from the Gods’.

They are due on stage at 1pm, with games being shown live on Viaplay and PDC TV.

A £30,000 winner’s prize and the first European Tour title of the year are at stake for the remaining 16.

Star names Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith and Dave Chisnall are among those to have crashed out in today's matches.
