A MAN living in Runcorn is facing a Chester Crown Court date for allegations of inciting a teenager to engage in sexual activity.
Derek Wiswall, 35 and of YMCA Halton Lodge, did not enter a plea at Chester Magistrates’ Court to four counts on Tuesday, December 2.
He is accused of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and inciting a child to watch sexual activity.
The defendant is also charged with the possession of extreme pornographic images involving animals and the possession of 97 category B and 165 category C indecent images of children.
Wiswall was given conditional bail to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, January 2.
He must not have unsupervised contact with a child, enter a property where there is a child, not spend overnight at a house with children and let social services know if he moves into the area.
Chair magistrate Ian Williams said: “This matter is so serious it cannot be dealt with here. It has to be dealt with at a crown court.”
