IT was a magical night for a Runcorn businessman who was named one of the best in the country.
Robbie Danson has been announced as the North West Regional Winner at The Wedding Industry Awards 2025.
He will now go through to the National Final in London held on January 22nd.
Wedding magician category winner Robbie said: “I was stunned to be announced as the winner. It’s amazing being recognised as an award-winning magician.”
“If it wasn’t for all the lovely couples whose weddings I have performed at over the last 12 months voting for me, none of this would have been possible.
“It would mean the world to me if I won the national final as I’ll be up against all the other regional finalists from around the country.”
Elated Mr Danson walking through the crowd as his victory was announced at Larkspur Lodge in Knutsford Founder of The Wedding Industry Awards, Damian Bailey said: “TIWA (The Wedding Industry Awards) is the most rigorous, respected and coveted award in the UK wedding industry, so the regional winners really are at the top of their game.”
“The competition is tough, the standard is very high indeed, but thanks to over 27,000 client votes and our panel of more than 150 expert judges, the regional winners have risen to the top in an industry that absolutely demands the best.”
The UK wedding industry is worth an estimated £15 billion annually and wedding suppliers are working hard to stand out from the crowd.
Mr Danson said: “It was a massive achievement to get into the regional finals and then to win it has elevated my business”
