TWO fire engines were dispatched to a fire in a home in Widnes.
Crews from Widnes and Penketh fire stations were dispatched to Arley Drive yesterday afternoon, Monday.
This came after Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a kitchen fire at around 12.35pm.
Firefighters used a high-pressure fan to clear smoke following the incident.
It was determined that the smoke was caused by an oven which had been left on unattended.
