Halton residents still have time to donate toys and gifts to this year's Halton Family Hub's Christmas Toy Appeal.
The appeal, which closes on December 9, aims to provide presents for children up to the age of 18.
All donations will be distributed to local families in Halton over the festive season.
The appeal was kickstarted by Merseyflow and Merseylink, who donated £4,000 of brand-new toys.
Avison Young, Merseylink's finance managers, also contributed £500 to the cause.
Merseyflow's staff and customers are actively supporting the appeal by using its walk-in centre in Manor Park, Runcorn, as a drop-off point for toys and Christmas presents.
Helen Williams, marketing manager at Merseyflow, said: "It’s fantastic to have received such wonderful toys from our customers and staff to kick-start the appeal.
"We’d like to encourage anyone who is able to give something back this festive season to join us in supporting the local community in Halton and the surrounding areas.
"Special thanks go to our friends at Merseylink for their generous donation and Merseyflow’s staff and customers who have already made donations.
"Let’s work together to make sure every child in Halton has the Christmas they deserve."
This is the sixth year Merseyflow has supported the Halton Family Hubs over the festive season, collecting hundreds of donations to brighten Christmas for those in need.
Hugh O’Connor, general manager of the Merseylink Consortium, said: "Every child deserves a present at Christmas and we’re hopeful that more people get involved and donate."
Denise Caldwell, early help officer at Runcorn Family Hub, said: "We’d like to give special thanks to Merseyflow and Merseylink for their generous donations.
"Even the smallest donation is welcome and will go a long way to helping every child in Halton wake up to a gift on Christmas morning."
The Merseyflow walk-in centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm and Saturday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm.
The address is 9 Howard Court, Manor Park, Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 1SJ.
