Bursaries are being offered to Halton youngsters struggling to achieve their aspirations.
The Mayor of Halton Fund, led by Kevan Wainwright, is providing support to under-25s in Halton to help pursue further education and training.
Delivered by the Halton Foundation, the fund was set up in 2016 and is a collaboration involving Halton Chamber of Commerce, Halton Borough Council, and Halton and St Helen’s Voluntary and Community Action (VCA).
The Community Foundation for Merseyside administers the grant-making arm of the foundation.
The Mayor and Mayoress recently expressed their commitment to aiding Halton’s youth and communities through the fund.
Eligible applicants must be under 25, reside in Halton, come from a vulnerable family, be a care leaver, or have a disability or learning difficulty.
