THREE fire engines rushed to the scene of a house fire in Runcorn last night, Thursday.
Crews were called to the incident on Stone Barn Lane at around 5.20pm.
They arrived to find a fire on the first floor of a home.
All occupants were accounted for and required precautionary checks from paramedics.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokespersons aid: “Covering jets were in place from the outside while two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building to extinguish the fire.
“Crews ensured there was no fire spread by using a thermal imaging camera.
“A high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke.”
Three fire engines attended, including Runcorn, Widnes and Powey.
