FIREFIGHTERS rushed to Runcorn town centre after a crash involving two cars this afternoon, Tuesday.
Two fire engines from Runcorn and Widnes attended the scene on Granville Street, in Runcorn, at around 2.15pm.
Crews removed the doors of one of the two vehicles to help assist passengers out of the car.
The occupiers were then passed into the care of paramedics while firefighters made the vehicles safe.
