In Halton, The Observatory in Widnes is part of the Hungry Horse chain.
As part of its annual toy boxing charity initiative, the pub brand is aiming to collecting 5,000 toys in the first 24 hours of the appeal launch.
The milestone marks the fourth consecutive iteration of Hungry Horse's Christmas initiative, designed to re-home toys by providing them to families in need.
Last year, it donated nearly 17,000 toys to children nationwide.
Sarah Williams, senior marketing manager at Hungry Horse, said: "We're proud to bring back our annual toy donation scheme for a fourth consecutive year.
"This year, we want to thank all our amazing customers for their donations by offering a free slice of our delicious Raspberry Trifle Cheesecake to anyone who is able to gift a toy to someone in need in their local area.
"So, head on down to your local Hungry Horse on November 14th, donate a toy, and enjoy a tasty dessert on us.”
