FIRE crews attended to a large bonfire which had grown 'out of control' in Widnes.
A fire engine from Runcorn was dispatched to the incident on Alexander Drive at around 10am this morning, Thursday.
Firefighters from Cheshire Fire Service found on arrival that a 'large' bonfire had become out of control.
They wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the growing flames.
