HALTON Christmas Toy Appeal has launched once again to help families in need over the festive period.
Last Christmas, the appeal helped an incredible 1,190 children and provided 252 hampers to families in need.
But with even more families to support this year, the appeal is aiming to make Christmas special for more than 1,200 local children.
Widnes-based business Kangaroo Storage has shown its support for the Halton Christmas Toy Appeal 2024 already by donating vital storage space for this year's efforts.
Founder Nicky Woodward said: "We are incredibly grateful to Kangaroo Storage for their donation, which allows us to store the hundreds of toys needed to ensure no child goes without this Christmas.
“Their support makes a huge difference to our ability to deliver the appeal."
The appeal is seeking local businesses in Widnes and Runcorn to get involved by becoming sponsors or drop-off points for toy donations.
With 255 food hampers planned for this year, businesses can make a ‘meaningful impact’ in their community by supporting the appeal.
