A CYCLIST died following a crash, an inquest has heard.
Adrian David Bates from Runcorn died on August 22, 2023, age 47.
At an inquest on Wednesday (October 16) it was heard how Mr Bates, a retired window cleaner, died as a result of injuries sustained in a crash while riding his bike on August 11.
Mr Bates, originally from Derby but most recently of Birch Road in Runcorn, died 11 days after the crash, at the Walton Centre in Liverpool.
The medical cause of death was given as traumatic head injury.
Assistant Coroner Elizabeth Wheeler concluded that his death was the result of a road traffic collision.
