Two cars collided on Kingsway last night (October 11).

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service sent to engines – one from Penketh and one from Widnes – to the scene shortly before midnight.

“Crews were called to a collision involving two vehicles,” said a CFRS spokesperson.

“Firefighters made both vehicles safe and three casualties were left in the care of paramedics.”
