An event aimed at empowering women in business is coming to Halton.
The 'Actually She Can' event, sponsored by Prospect Homes and organised by the Mayoress, Andrea Wainwright, will be part of the Mayor's Charity Fundraising initiatives and is set for February 2025.
Offering distinct opportunities for personal and professional growth, the event aims to foster future talent in Halton by generating funds for bursary opportunities, assisting young people in the borough to pursue higher education or apprenticeships.
The company's involvement in the 'Actually She Can' event signifies its commitment to inspiring women, equipping them with the motivation to maximise their career potential.
Prospect Homes also collaborates with The Women into Home Building programme, run by the Home Builders Federation (HBF), to encourage women to consider careers in homebuilding.
Being one of the few SMEs in the North to be part of the programme, the company is set to offer work experience to two women at its latest development, Abbey Vale in Widnes, later this year.
