A ROAD in Widnes is set to close for a week this month.
Halton Borough Council has confirmed Victoria Road will close from Friday, October 18 to the following Friday, October 25.
Warrington's Own Buses announced the road closure on X this morning, Wednesday.
It stated that diversion routes would be put in places for buses that usually use the road.
A spokesperson for Warrington's Own Buses said: "We have been informed by Halton BC that Victoria Road, Widnes, will be closed on Friday, 18th October until Friday, 25th October 2024. See our website for Service C41, C41A, C43, C51, C52 & X43 diversion details."
