A FLAT-BED truck caught fire on a residential street in Widnes.
One fire engine was dispatched from Widnes to the scene of the blaze on Mottershead Road at around 9.58pm yesterday evening, Friday.
Cheshire Fire Service confirmed that fire fighters had to use a horse reel jet to extinguish the flames.
A spokesperson said: "Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving a flat-bed vehicle."
