THREE fire engines rushed Runcorn to help two casualties after an electric bike causes a fire in a flat
At around 10.30pm last night, Tuesday, fire crews from Runcorn, Frodsham and Penketh attended The Knoll.
When they arrived, an electric bike was found inside the property and was believed to have caused the fire.
Firefighters removed the bike and placed the batteries into water while the flat was cleared of smoke using a high-pressure fan.
Crew members also treated two casualties with oxygen therapy before an ambulance attended the scene.
