FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chemical spill in Widnes.
A drum of hydrogen peroxide fell off a vehicle on Hammersmith Way, off South Lane, near The Everglades Hotel.
The incident happened at 5.30pm on Monday, September 23.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus dealt with the small hazardous spill.
The container was bagged and carefully removed for safe disposal.
Two fire engines from Widnes and Penketh dealt with the incident.
