AN inquest has been opened into the death of an 85-year-old man from Runcorn.
Dennis Rigby, from Beechwood, sadly died on July 14 at Halton Haven Hospice.
Cheshire Coroner’s Court heard how he was admitted to the hospice for end-of-life care.
Victoria Davies, the area coroner for Cheshire, said that due to there being an unnatural element in Mr Rigby’s cause of death, namely possible asbestos exposure, an inquest is required.
It will take place in December.
