UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Sophie has been found, but police are continuing the search for Kieran.
ORIGINAL: AN urgent police appeal has been launched to find two missing teenagers who are believed to be together.
Kieran Kaid, aged 16, and Sophie Stevens, aged 14, are both from south Liverpool, but both have links to Runcorn.
They have both been missing from their homes since yesterday, Thursday, and they are believed to be together.
Kieran is described as being around 6ft tall, of a slim build and with short dark hair.
Sophie meanwhile is said to be around 5ft 2in tall, of a slim build and with blonde hair.
When they were last seen, they were both wearing their school uniform.
They both have links to other parts of Liverpool and Runcorn, while Kieran also has links to Manchester city centre and Poynton.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: “If you see Kieran or Sophie, please get in touch so we can make sure they are safe and well.”
