A RUNCORN resident ‘nearly fell out of bed’ after he spotted a huge flock of sheep outside his house.
Paul Connolly was ‘cursing’ when his Ring Doorbell woke him up at 6.45am on Tuesday.
After a quick glance at his phone, he noticed a huge flock of sheep were not only on his street, which is near to Runcorn East train station, but they were actually on his front garden.
“I nearly fell out of bed when I looked,” he said.
“They came along the main road over the humpback rail bridge and turned left into our close.
“Them sheep can certainly poo.”
The flock was first spotted by a fellow Runcorn resident at around 3.30am.
Paul has since shared the Ring Doorbell footage on social media and it has certainly brought a smile to many peoples’ faces.
One person commented: “I was woken at 3.30am. I thought I was dreaming! They did some damage to my garden.”
Another said: “We saw them on the busway. What a busy morning they’re having sightseeing.”
