RESIDENTS in an area of Runcorn are being warned in advance of a planned power cut.
Those living in the WA7 postcode area have been told they may have no power tomorrow morning, Friday.
This is due to Scottish Power carrying out repairs to an underground cable that has developed a fault.
The energy provider says it is anticipated that power will be back by 11am, and it has thanked residents for their patience.
A Scottish Power spokesman said: “It will be necessary for our engineers to carry out an emergency shutdown in the WA7 postcode area on September 6 at 9.30am due to an underground cable fault.
“Our team will be carrying out repair work safely, and this may affect the supply to your property.
“We will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible, and we expect the power to be restored by 11am.
“We will update this message if this information changes. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
