A CAR rolled down a hill and crashed into a roundabout.
Emergency services were called to a crash in Runcorn on Wednesday evening (August 7).
Arriving at Windmill Hill Avenue East shortly before 6pm, firefighters found a car had rolled down a hill and collided with a roundabout.
Fortunately, no one was in the vehicle and it is believed the handbrake had been left off.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters stabilised a vehicle that had rolled down a hill and collided with a roundabout.
“No one was in the vehicle at the time, and it is believed that the handbrake had not been applied.
“Crews remained with police to ensure the vehicle was safe for recovery.”
A Cheshire Police spokesperson added: "At 5.45pm on August 7 police were called to a collision on Windmill Hill Avenue East, Runcorn.
"Officers attended and found that an unattended car had rolled down the road from the Co-op, it is believed that the handbrake had not been applied.
"There were no injuries."
