THREE fire engines attended the scene of a shipping container in Runcorn that is reportedly used by homeless people to sleep in.
The fire, which was reported at 7.34pm this evening, Sunday, occurred on Pimlico Road.
Three fire engines attended the container that was heavily involved in fire.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus to enter the shipping container to ensure that nobody was inside.
The site was then dampened down and checked for hotspots with a thermal imaging camera.
