TWO new picnic benches have been installed at a park in Widnes.
They can now be found at Hale Park and are for everyone to use and enjoy.
One can be found near the car park area and is dedicated to the late Queen Elizabeth II, while one can be found near the playground area and is dedicated to King Charles III.
They were funded by leftover money from the celebration of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the King Charles III Coronation.
Donations were received from the Freemen of Hale, Hale Carnival Committee, Hale Parish Council, The GuildsWomen of Hale and Members of the Local Community.
