A FAMILY bus operator partnered with a Runcorn primary school to take pupils out on a ‘beautiful’ trip to Walton Gardens.
Omega Busways whisked the pupils of Astmoor Primary School in Runcorn off to the popular beauty spot in Warrington for the day, totally free of charge.
The reception and year one class enjoyed exploring the outdoors and learning about nature.
Carmel Smith from Astmoor Primary School commented on the trip, saying: “We were so impressed with the service provided by Omega Busways.
“Some of our children come from deprived homes so the very generous service was much appreciated.
“It was the first time our SEN Base children had attended a trip out of school and some were feeling anxious.
“Our driver Ian soon put them at ease. Thank you, Omega Busways.”
Each child made a thank you letter to the bus operator for the fun day out.
Managing director at Omega Busways, Ian Howard added: “At Omega Busways, we believe every child deserves access to educational opportunities.
“We were delighted to partner with Astmoor Primary and play a small role in making this trip a reality for all the pupils involved.”
