THE most expensive and cheapest streets in Runcorn to buy a home have been revealed.
Data provided by fast sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the borough.
The priciest street in Runcorn was found to be Delph Lane in Daresbury.
Four homes sold under the WA4 6ST postcode for an average of £525,000 in the last five years.
Coming in as the second most expensive street to own a house in the town is Norton Village in Norton.
Here, five homes under the WA7 6PZ postcode sold for an average of £477,950.
Meanwhile, Magna Park was named the third most expensive street, with three homes being sold at an average price of £395,833 under the WA7 1GY postcode.
But moving towards the opposite end of the spectrum, the data revealed the streets in Runcorn with the cheapest house prices based on previous house sales.
The first and least expensive street is Juniper Grove in Murdishaw.
Six homes were sold during the last five years at an average price of £62,708 within the WA7 6JP postcode.
The second cheapest street in Runcorn was named as Denbigh Court, in Castlefields.
From 2019, eight homes in the WA7 2NP postcode sold for an average of £64,843.
And lastly, the third cheapest street was found to be Lock 4 in The Decks.
A total of four homes were purchased during the last five years for an average price of £65,875.
The average house price of homes in Runcorn in 1995 was £48,375.
A decade on in 2005 there was an huge increase to an average of £113,616. However, in 2015 the increase in house prices moved only marginally in comparison to £129,222.
Property prices spiked in the area in 2022 at an average of £188,233.
And as of this year, the current average house price in the town is £158,834.
