A BIKE was stolen from a 14-year-old boy by two men wearing face coverings who threatened him in a park.
A police investigation has been launched into the incident, which took place on Tuesday, June 11, at around 8pm in Phoenix Park, Runcorn.
The victim, a 14-year-old boy, was in the park with his Scott Genius 750 bike when he was approached by two suspects.
One of the men was described as being around 5ft 10ins tall wearing Motirex or Monterrain clothing and a balaclava with a ‘Joker’-style clown face on it.
The other was described as being 5ft 4ins tall in dark clothing with a T-shirt wrapped around his face.
The suspects made threats to the victim before taking his bike.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to get in touch with us,” said Detective Constable Nathaniel Walkowiak.
“The same goes for those who may have footage which could aid our investigation or has any other information which could help.
