THE team which operates the gateway between Runcorn and Widnes been recognised at a prestigious awards ceremony for the fourth time for its commitment to employees and customers.

Emovis provides the services to collect charges on the Mersey Gateway Bridge and Silver Jubilee Bridge for Merseyflow.

The company attended the UK National Contact Centre Awards ceremony on Monday where it was recognised with two prestigious awards.

It received two Highly Commended awards for Change and Innovation Team of the Year for its Business and Improvement and Change team, as well as Resource Planning Manager of the Year.

“We’re incredibly proud of the team and individual efforts that contributed to this success which is particularly meaningful given the calibre of the other nominees,” said Neil Conway, chief executive of Merseyflow.

“I am incredibly proud of everyone who contributed to this success and out our teams’ ongoing dedication to providing excellent customer service.”

Overall, Emovis was recognised as a finalist in five categories, including individual and team awards for its contact centres in Halton and Leeds.
