AN air ambulance was called to a crash which saw two people rescued from a flipped car.
Shortly before 11am this morning, Monday, police were called to reports of a crash on Wharford Lane near to Sandymoor Ormiston Academy.
Officers attended the scene and found that the incident involved one vehicle, a white Ford eco-sport, which had overturned.
Two people were released from the vehicle by firefighters.
They are not believed to have sustained serious injuries, but they have been taken to hospital.
The road was closed while recovery work was undertaken
