A BRAVE police dog traced down an offender wanted in relation to serious domestic violence offences.
At around 12.32am this morning, Thursday, local police officers accompanied by police dog, PD Toro, attended an address on The Glen in Runcorn following reports of a serious assault.
The police dog helped to locate the offender who was being traced in relation to 'serious domestic violence' offences.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault in relation to the incident.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "He remains in custody at this time and is assisting officers with their enquiries."
