AN investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire in a commercial building in Widnes.
Two fire engines from Runcorn and Widnes rush to St Michael’s Industrial Estate in Ditton at 5.36am on Saturday, May 18.
Fire crews used breathing kit and hoses to put out the fire, which was inside a commercial building.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a St Michael’s Industrial estate at 5.36am on Saturday, May 18.
“Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish a fire inside a commercial property.
“An investigation into the cause of the fire is still to be carried out.”
