ACTORS from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps paid a visit to Runcorn and teased that fans could expect an explanation soon.
Will Mellor and Ralf Little are two of the actors who starred in Runcorn-based TV show Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
The programmed aired for ten years between 2001 and 2011 on the BBC and was written by Runcorn native, Susan Nickson.
Yesterday, Thursday, May 9, the two actors were spotted at a Space Runcorn on Regent Street, which the bakery shared on Facebook.
“A couple of Runcorn locals popped in for a visit today,” the post read.
“Unfortunately, we didn’t have ‘two pints’ to offer them.
“We did sort them out with a Lazy Brunch and game of 90s Trivial Pursuit while they waited.”
Both the stars posted the trip on Instagram, posing for pictures together outside of the former pub where the series was filmed, which is now a Buddhist temple.
While Will kept his cards a little closer to his chest, Ralf teased that fans could expect something coming soon on his post on social media.
“Look who’s back outside The Archer from Two Pints,” his post read.
“It’s a Buddhist temple now. Times have changed!
“Will explain soon why we were here.”
