THERE is a technical issue when making 999 calls in one are of Runcorn.
Cheshire Fire Service has confirmed engineers are currently trying to fix a fault affecting emergency service calls coming through today, Friday.
The fault is only affecting the Manor Park area and is related to landline calls.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire said: "Engineers are working to fix the issue. Normal service expected to be available at around 4:40pm this afternoon."
