A MOTORIST was clocked speeding at 100mph on the M62 Westbound near Widnes.
North West Motorway Police officers stopped a driver this morning, Wednesday, between junction 7 Widnes and junction 5, A5080.
The driver was seen racing along the carriageway at excessive speeds of between 95 and 100mph.
A spokesperson for NWMP said: "Vehicle stopped and driver reported for exceeding the speed limit on the motorway."
