A RUNCORN nursery has been rated one of the top 20 in the north west.
S4YC @ St Mary’s Preschool & Out of School Club was named one of the best in the region out of more than 1000 early years settings.
Ratings were made based on the leading nursery review website, daynurseries.co.uk, with parents providing their honest reviews based on their experiences of nurseries across the north west.
Each nursery was rated on its overall standard, facilities and outside space, learning, resources and equipment and ICT, care, activities, staff, food and nutrition, management, cleanliness, safeguarding as well as value for money.
Manager at S4YC @ St Mary’s, Rosie, spoke of the teams pride at receiving the award, saying: “We feel very proud to be considered to be one of the top 20 nurseries within the North West.
“Here at St Mary’s it is important for the team to feel valued and apricated and with this award, my team do feel this way.
“It means so much to us to be able to read all of the lovely feedback and reviews on our day nurseries page and hear that from our families. We all have such a close relationship with our children and families here at St Mary’s.
“Myself and my team work really hard each and every day to provide a stimulating, nurturing and most importantly FUN environment for our children to play, learn and develop their skills.”
There are over 14,000 nurseries in the UK, with over 400,000 people working in the childcare sector. Around one million children in the UK attend a nursery, ranging in age from three months to five years old.
Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of the website, said: “We would like to congratulate S4YC @ St Mary’s Preschool & Out of School Club on being rated by parents as a top nursery in north west of England.
“Being rated so highly by family and carers of children that attend the setting is a huge achievement.
“Our award is valuable recognition from parents and carers that this nursery is offering their children an excellent standard of care and a stimulating environment, which will help boost their development and hopefully create a lifelong love of learning.
“We hope these awards give parents that much needed guidance in choosing the right nursery for their child.”
