A PALLET distribution business, which has a site in Widnes, has received three awards for its contribution to the logistics industry.
SSO Logistics Ltd picked up the awards at Pallet-Track’s 20th anniversary shareholder gala, which was held at the De Vere Beaumont estate in Windsor.
The company, that also has sites in St Helens and Haydock, joined the Pallet-Track network in 2021 which enables more than 90 independent logistics companies to work together efficiently across the UK.
“We are so pleased to be recognised for our contribution to Pallet-Track and we are proud of our team’s hard work and continued success,” said Peter Draper, CEO of SSO Logistics.
“As an industry, we have faced challenges in recent years, so it is fantastic to receive recognition and to have an opportunity to celebrate our collective achievements.
“We look forward to building on our success in the year ahead.”
The company, which started in Warrington in 2014, collected three awards for their achievements: the Pallet-Track Growth Award, the Pallet-Track Marketing Award, and a Pallet-Track Platinum Award for service excellence.
Since joining the network in 2021, SSO Logistics have created 16 new jobs due to the additional work being a part of the network provided.
