POLICE investigating the supply of illegal drugs in Runcorn have named a man after he was charged.
Cheshire Police arrested a man on The Brow in Runcorn on Tuesday 13 February as part of a pre-planned operation.
Martin Salmon, of Greenbridge Close in Runcorn, has since been charged by detectives with being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, namely cannabis.
The 40-year-old appeared before Warrington Magistrates Court yesterday, Wednesday, where he was remanded in custody.
Salmon is next set to appear before Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, March 13.
Two other local men, both aged 20, were arrested as part of the enquiries, and they have since been released under investigation.
