A WOMAN has been charged with owning dangerously out of control XL bully dogs.
Jessica Campbell is due to appear before the courts to face two charges relating to the behaviour of dogs in Widnes.
The first alleges that she was the owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
The particulars of the charge allege that the 29-year-old was the owner of a dog, namely Reggie, an XL bully, which was dangerously out of control in Widnes on June 28.
The charge alleges that while the dog was ‘so out of control’, it injured a man.
Campbell also faces a similar charge of being the owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control – but with no injury.
That charge alleges that she was the owner of a dog, namely Rui, an XL bully, which was dangerously out of control, also in Widnes on June 28.
Campbell, of Netherfield in Widnes, is due to make a first appearance in relation to the charges before Warrington Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday.
