POLICE have given an update on the condition of a girl after she was rushed to hospital by an air ambulance.
At around 1.50pm last Friday, officers were called to reports for the concerns for the safety of a girl on Watkinson Way in Widnes.
Emergency services attended the scene and the girl was taken to hospital by an air ambulance.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police has revealed that the girl’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Road closures were in place on Friday and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
There was heavy traffic between Mill Lane to A533 Mersey Gateway following the incident.
