A RUNCORN thug who wounded and threatened to kill his victim has been jailed.

Kurtis Crabb was hauled before the courts for a catalogue of nasty offences.

These include possessing a kitchen knife in a public place, wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, threats to kill, sending a communication conveying a threatening message, criminal damage, affray, and obstructing a constable in execution of duty.

The offences all happened in November of last year, with the majority taking place in Runcorn.

However the possession of the kitchen knife took place in Knowsley, according to court documents.

The 28-year-old, of Bridgeway West, Runcorn, appeared before Chester Crown Court for sentencing at the end of last month.

Here, Recorder David Temkin sentenced him to 28 months behind bars.

Crabb is also subjected to a five-year restraining order against his victim.
