FIREFIGHTERS rescued a person trapped inside a car following a crash in Runcorn.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Weston Point Expressway at around 9.45am yesterday, Thursday.
The crash involved three vehicles and resulted in one person being medically trapped inside a car.
Fire crews were called to the scene to release the casualty to the care of paramedics.
The expressway was closed by Cheshire Police while the incident was dealt with.
