THE council is welcoming locals for a festive Town Hall event.
Halton Borough Council’s Runcorn Town Hall Open Day will take place on Saturday from 10am to 4pm with free admission.
There will be a variety of festive craft stalls, a tombola, a raffle stall, and a Father Christmas grotto that attendees can get involved with.
Members of the Mayor’s fundraising team will be undertaking fundraising activities for Child Bereavement UK and The Fellowship Centre in Widnes which provides a social environment for young people with special needs.
Local primary schools will be singing in the council chamber on the day.
Donations of unwanted gifts that could be used for the tombola or raffle are encouraged, including toys, bric-a-brac and items that could make up a Christmas food hamper.
