A CANNABIS farm has been discovered in a police raid on a terraced house in Widnes.

Officers found a number of plants inside a two-storey property on Irwell Street at 9am on Monday, November 27.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “No arrests were made at the property but officers discovered a cannabis farm.

“All of the plants have been seized and will not be destroyed.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

The property is now boarded up.
