AS we enter the festive season, many of us will be visiting Christmas markets in Liverpool.
The nearby city has opened its markets outside St George’s Hall for 2023, with thousands of people set to descend on them in the run-up to Christmas.
For many, they are a fun day or evening out, with a chance to enjoy some drinks and seasonal specials.
For others however, the same questions always pop up – how much are drinks and is it worth it?
To answer the former, here are the drink prices you need to know:
Bottles – Peroni, Budweiser, Desperados and Old Mout Cider - £6.50
Draft beer – Warsteiner, Erdinger, Krombacher, Birra Moretti, Estrella, Coors and Strongbow Dark Fruits – pint for £6.50 and half for £3.50
Mulled wine or cider - £6.50
Mulled wine with amaretto, brandy, whiskey, Tia Maria or rum - £8.50
175ml red, white or rose wine - £7
Glass of prosecco or pink prosecco - £8.50
Hot chocolate - £5
Tea or coffee - £4
Hot chocolate or coffee with Baileys, amaretto, brandy, whiskey or Tia Maria - £7
Cocktails – passion fruit martini, pink martini or expresso martini - £9
25ml spirit and mixer - £6.50 (£1 extra for Red Bull)
50ml spirit and mixer - £8.50 (£1 extra for Red Bull)
Jägermeister shot - £4.50
Jägermeister bomb - £6
Tequila rose shot - £4.50
Soft drinks – Coke, Diet Coke, lemonade, Tango, J2O or water - £3 (50p extra for Red Bull)
