POLICE are appealing for help from members of the public in finding a missing teenage girl.

Leona Derbyshire, who has links to Widnes, has been reported missing from her home in the Kensington area of Liverpool.

The 16-year-old was last seen at around 5.30pm yesterday, Monday, in Liverpool city centre.

Since her disappearance, officers have carried out extensive enquiries to find her, and they are now appealing to anyone who may have seen her to come forward.

Leona is described as being around 5ft 5in tall, of a slim build with light brown hair.

She was last seen wearing white Balenciaga trainers, grey leggings and a grey jacket.

Leona has links to Liverpool city centre, Toxteth, Widnes and Kirkdale.
