THE date for Runcorn Shopping City’s Christmas light switch-on has been revealed.
Saturday, November 18, promises to be a day full of festive fun and entertainment with lots to see and do.
As well as switching on the giant Christmas tree, visitors can also expect to see thousands of decorative lights and can also enjoy free entry to Santa’s grotto.
There will also be delicious food on offer, Christmas crafts, and live music.
Dave Pearman, shopping centre manager at Runcorn Shopping City, said: “It’s that time of the year again!
“We’re inviting people to come and immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas at our official light switch-on event.
“The centre is excited to have a jam-packed schedule of fun for visitors to enjoy.
“Please come along and get involved, you can see the beautiful lights on display, treat yourself to a cheeky mince pie, and kids and adults alike can grab themselves a selfie with some Chrimbo elves and more – a day not to be missed.”
Opening at 10am with the entertainment kicking off at 12pm, the centre is thrilled and ready to embrace the holiday season with everyone.
Entry to the event will be free as part of Runcorn Shopping City’s commitment to providing the local community with affordable and enjoyable family fun.
The centre asks that those who are able to kindly make a donation to this year’s chosen charity - Halton Haven Hospice.
