RESTAURANTS, pubs, farm shops and food producers are celebrating after being chosen by diners and shoppers for coveted accolades.

The Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards 2023 have attracted a record 59,000 votes from the public.

Groobarbs farm in High Legh has been shortlisted for four awards – Food Producer of the Year, Green Award for Sustainability, Local Produce in a Menu and Best Large Restaurant.

The Lambing Shed in Knutsford is up for Local Produce Shop of the Year with The Hollies Farm Shop in Little Budworth.

Mystery judges, made up of industry experts, have dined, shopped, stayed and tasted food nominees Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Chester Racecourse on Wednesday, September 27.
